Ischemic Stroke Treatment

What is the Ischemic Stroke?

It occurs when blood flow to the brain decreases or stops as a result of a clot in the brain vein. Rapid treatment is crucial in preventing the development of damage in larger areas where cell damage does not disappear completely but the blood flow is reduced. 85% of strokes fall into this group.

When should it be done?

In patients suffering from ischemic stroke due to intracranial vascular occlusion, the INVAMED Vascular revascularization device is used to improve blood flow, take the clot and revive neurological tissue.

The device is intended for use in neurovascularity such as internal carotid artery, M1 and M2 segments of the middle cerebral artery, middle carbide artery, basilar and vertebral arteries.

Working Principle

Thanks to its overlapping cylindrical structure, the ability to work on larger vessels when opened and to be pulled back into the catheter at a smaller diameter during closure, the procedure for retracting the clot is performed safely.

With its atraumatic end structure, it has minimal damage and superior furtherability within the vessel. The vessel has a minimum percentage of contact with the imtimal wall.
